Welcome to my website! Make yourself comfortable. Do you need water or anything?

I'm Carly Polistina - an actor, writer, and comedian based outside of New York City. I was nominated by CT Critics Circle Awards for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play for my work as Mary Warren in CRT's production of The Crucible. Since 2018 I have been trying to write that in a shorter sentence, but that seems to be the best I can do! I am currently a resident actor in NYC's Vulcan Theatre Company. This past March I participated in our inaugural production of Macbeth as Ross.

My original play, Annies and Kleptos, premiered through Rogue Theatre Festival at 13th Street Repertory Theatre in the Summer of 2019. I have co-written a comedy TV Series called "Learning Curve". We are currently working to produce the pilot episode and pitch the series to networks.

I absolutely love comedy in every form. I won a residency at Broadway Comedy Club, and I have been performing live in New York City since. A month prior to that in March 2021, I headlined a show virtually with Flappers Comedy Club. I am also a 2021 Ladies of Laughter Finalist. I came in 2nd Place in Uncle Clyde's Comedy Contest at Flappers Comedy Club Virtually and moved on to the Soup-Or-Bowl Finals. In July of 2020 I competed in the 10th Season of Last Comix Standing at Mohegan Sun's Comix Roadhouse. I have trained in Sketch and Improv through Upright Citizens Brigade, and have spent nearly 10 years doing Improv. I am constantly working to create. I have developed a short character series called Emerald, But Not Like The Gem, and I make short celebrity and character impression videos!

I love to create, collaborate, and consume Kraft Mac and Cheese. I recognize the third item probably does not belong on this list, but it needed to be said and there wasn't a more natural way to work it in! I can't wait to laugh and play pretend with others again!

Well, feel free to explore! We have snacks. If you need anything else just let me know!
